The museum is housed with the civic library in a beautiful building overlooking Piazza Henry Durant in the highest part of the town.
The square is pedestrian, there are large parking lots nearby.

Inaugurated in 2012, the museum shows, through multimedia content, artifacts and images, the skiing history of the Riserva Bianca. Thousands of documents, images and videos can be consulted through a multimedia visit experience made accessible through interactive information totems. The video testimonials reproduce historical material courtesy of the Istituto Luce; vintage images coming largely from private collections and original equipment of the early twentieth century, including numerous pairs of skis, both for men and children, sleds of various shapes and sizes, and other material intended for use on the snow with both playful and working purposes. In the museum some characters are remembered that have played a fundamental role in the history of winter sports in Limone Piemonte and it exhibits some relics that tell the evolution of this sport. Twentieth century materials such as skis, sleds and boots have been preserved. Among the digital materials available to the public there are some videos given in use by the Istituto Luce.
